INFORMATION ABOUT US
Home-based Childcare is a great choice for you and your child. We care for children from birth to five, and also provide before and after school care and school holiday programmes for children over five. Homebased care is flexible, and fits in with the hours you need care.
Care is provided in the homes of carefully chosen, trained Early Childhood Caregivers who can give your child the one to one attention they deserve. An individual programme is developed for each child using the N.Z. Early Childhood Curriculum "Te Whaariki" We provide age appropriate toys and equipment to ensure your childs play and development needs are met at every stage of their journey through childhood.
A maximum of four children can be cared for at any one time, although only two of these may be under two years old. The five Registered Early Childhood Teachers on our staff work with the carers and children observing, providing support and ongoing coaching. The ongoing monitoring of your childs care situation gives you the comfort of knowing your child is in the best environment to thrive, play, learn and grow.
We believe children grow and learn best in an environment where they are able to form trusting relationships with their carer, are cared for and nurtured as individuals and have the appropriate educational input to develop good communication skills for their future.
Our service is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Children Youth & Family, and has been working successfully with children and families in the Eastern Bay of Plenty for fifteen years.
