Plant Maintenance Services is a general engineering workshop situated at 11 Te Tahi St, Whakatane. Over the past fourteen years we have provided services to a wide range of heavy industry, construction industry, marine, automotive and agricultural industries.

Plant Maintenance Services has recently been appointed as a Regional Service Centre for ENZED which includes a total hydraulic hose and fitting service. We support the Mobile Hose Doctors by making the workshop available to them and servicing clients when they are not available. You may take your blown hydraulic hose into the workshop and they will replace it while you wait.

We supply qualified engineering tradesmen for maintenance and overhaul work in industries such as timber, pulp and paper, and wood processing. These tradesmen are certified welders, fitters and machinists with years of experience in their fields. We can carry out repairs or modifications to agricultural and industrial machinery, either on site or in our workshop. Some examples include hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders and industrial pumping equipment.

For the building and construction industry Plant Maintenance Services fabricates structural framing, columns, beams, hand rails and stairways. We also manufacture various specialized types of machinery for agricultural and industrial use e.g. logging trailer built for logging in Vanuatu, weed screens in local canals.

In the marine scene we manufacture stainless steel fittings, bow rails, and rocket launchers. We also do welding repairs to aluminium boats and outboard motors. We repair all types of trailers, boat and domestic, or will build a complete new trailer. VTNZ is conveniently located next door. They also stock a range of marine and automotive batteries.
