Ohiwa Fishing Charters, Whakatane. Our boat 'The Cougar' departs from the Ohope Wharf to take you on your fishing adventure. A great day out for families, or just a group of mates. We are doing fishing trips for individuals or sole charters, from Ohope Wharf out to the Opotiki Mussel Farm. Trips cost only $55 per person, when a trip gets 12 bookings we'll notify you that it is confirmed by email. We fish the mussel farm off the coast of Waiotahi. The mussel beds are a fantastic spot to fish because a huge number of species, such as Snapper, King Fish, Kahawai, Gurnard and the odd shark.
