Motu River Jet Boat Tours offer you an awesome 1.5 hour experience of jet boating on either the Motu River or Matahina River. View scenery from the base of the river and into remote and unaltered native forests which is not often seen. The experienced guides on your trip provide commentary on the ecological and historical value of the Motu River plus you will experience the added excitement of the adventure and wilderness when jet boating on the river. We also offer 'Hunting Drop Offs' & 'Rafting Drop Offs' for those that wish to explore the Motu River further.
Bookings are essential as we have minimum number of passengers required for each trip.

Over the Summer period we have daily departures, by booking only. The Motu River Jet Boat Tour gives people of all ages access into areas of our country which is totally remote, unaltered by man and is rarely viewed.
Daily Summer Departures:
10am, 12 noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm

Hunting Jet Boat Tours
We offer Hunting Drop Offs on the Motu River. You can find Red Deer, Wild Pig and Goat live within the Raukumara ranges. Firearms licenses EPIRB are required.
The best time for hunting Deer is our spring (Sept - Dec)
Hunting Wild Pig is best in the Winter months. (May - Aug)

Rafting Drop Offs
The perfect family activity for all ages. We will take you on an exciting jet boat ride up the Motu River to a drop-off point then you can quietly drift & paddle your way back down to the Motu River Bridge. Take your time to explore the natural beauty of the area while you are there. A great family activity.
