In2Learning Whakatane are experts in after-school maths and literacy tutoring. Our Director, Diane is an experienced local educator with a wide knowledge of teaching and learning strategies, catering for all ages and abilities. Diane Black has led after-school educational support services in the Whakatane district for nearly 20 years, first as the Kip McGrath Centre but now as part of the New Zealand collective of In2Learning education centres. She has expertise in learning diversity, ESOL and learners needing extension work. She is passionate about Maths and Literacy, with a philosophy of engaging and empowering learners to reach their potential. 

Our professional, New Zealand-trained team - highly experienced tutors with in-depth knowledge of the varying needs of learners – share Diane’s philosophy. By providing individualised, targeted learning to each student - utilising a wide variety of learning activities and resources – we work to ensure our community of learners continue to thrive.
