Whakatāne Genealogical Group - Monthly Meeting
Repeats every month 52 times.
Fri, 01/05/2026 - 1:30pm to 2:30pm
The Whakatane Branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists welcomes anyone interested in genealogy and family history.
Our group aims to support the preservation of family records and public archives, helping members trace, collect, and record information about their ancestors.
Branch meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1.30pm, excluding December and January, at Te Whare Taonga ō Taketake – Whakatane Museum Collections and Research, 51-55 Boon Street, Whakatane.
This March, the Whakatane Genealogy Club will be hosting workshops. If you have hit a brick wall in your research in England, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, or elsewhere, come along and see how the club can help you uncover your family history.
