Whakatane whānau are invited to attend the Beyond School Workshop, designed for those supporting a disabled young person aged 14 and over as they prepare for life after school.

This practical workshop will cover key topics such as legal rights, funding, and support systems, helping you build a strong foundation for the transition ahead. You will also hear from local organisations, connect with other parents, and take time to plan your next steps and future goals.

Hosted by Parent to Parent’s Jane Ford and Kathleen Sanft, this free Whakatane event includes lunch and offers a supportive space to learn, share, and prepare for what’s next.
