Whakatane Sound Jam OPEN MIC NIGHT IS BACK! LIVE MUSIC! Whether you're a band, a solo artist or simply love music.....we have an event for you. Friday 29th May our Open Mic is back at Thornton Bar & Eatery. Full PA, drums, keyboard and back up musicians available if required. Dinner menu and bar open to public. 

This event is run by local musicians and supporters and offers a local stage to showcase local talent. Whether you want a place and stage to play on or simply want to give it a go for the first time, we want to give you an opportunity to do what you love! AND... All performers on the night will also receive a free complimentary drink.
