Pods beware, the DOMP Comp is back in Whakatane.

Run your own student or family team and help remove moth plant pods, one of our region’s most invasive weeds. Every pod collected helps stop thousands more seeds spreading through our community.

The competition runs from 4 April to 17 May 2026, with awesome prizes up for grabs. Last year, teams collected over 31,000 pods, so let’s see what this year’s Whakatane community can achieve.
