Book lovers are invited to enjoy the return of the Annual Salvation Army Book Fair in Whakatane. This popular event features thousands of high quality, carefully sorted books, offering something for readers of all ages and interests.

Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags. Eftpos is available, along with a warm welcome from the team. All funds raised directly support the ongoing work of the Whakatane Salvation Army within the local community, helping those in need.

Book donations are welcome. If you have books to contribute, please get in touch or drop them off at the main office located at 87 King Street, Whakatane.

Volunteers are also needed during the Book Fair. Anyone interested in helping out is encouraged to contact the main office by phone or email to become part of the team.

The Salvation Army Book Fair takes place every July during the first week of the school holidays.
