The Bay of Plenty Music School is an annual event, held at various centres around the Bay of Plenty and Taranaki. It caters for choral, orchestral and band musicians, providing a unique learning and working opportunity in a relaxed atmosphere under the guidance of experienced conductors and section leaders. This builds towards a performance on the Sunday afternoon. The Bay of Plenty Music School caters for choral, orchestral and concert band musicians, from secondary school students through to retirees. It provides an excellent opportunity for musicians to improve their skills in a collaborative atmosphere under the direction of leading experts in their field.

The conductors have vast experience working with a range of abilities to meld them together in musical harmony. There is no entry requirement for choir. We recommend that orchestra and band musicians be proficient at reading music at a grade 5 level. We invite musicians from all backgrounds to join us for this incredible opportunity.
