Welcome to East Coast Heavy Diesel Whakatane.
We are the only place in Whakatane to get your vehicle serviced, tested and new tyres fitted at the same place!
Open to the general public and commercial customers, our services are available for all types of vehicles and machinery. From cars and motorhomes to trucks and farm machinery, we offer a range of services including tyres, testing and mechanical servicing to get you back on the road. We are also a FUSO dealer, carry out FUSOs warranty / servicing work as well as carry their genuine parts.
East Coast Heavy Diesel also offer a 24 hour call out service if your machine or vehicle breaks down.

Whakatane Tyre Centre
Our Whakatane Tyre Centre fit most types of vehicle with new tyres, retreads and hard to source tyres. Whether you are looking for new or second hand tyres, if we don't have it in stock we have a wide range of suppliers to find the right type of tyre for you. Whether you need tyres for forestry machines or an SUV, come and see our tyre experts.

Teds Testing Station
TEDs Testing Station is located at East Coast Heavy Diesel Whakatane, offering a modern vehicle testing station that specialises in heavy vehicle Certificate of Fitness (CoF A, CoF B and Heavy PSV) testing.
Other services are available including vehicle assessments, brake, trailers and Warrant of Fitness testing and offer a discount for members of the NZ Motor Caravan Association
