Whakatane River Walk (Warren Cole Walkway) stretches from the Whakatane Bridge to The Whakatane Heads. The paved pathway is perfect for dogs, cyclists, runners and walkers. There are parts of the walkway that your dog is allowed off the leash and others where they have to be on the leash. Click here to see the designated on and off leash areas of the walkway. Along the walk way is some dog friendly reserves and a dog park.
